KRATOM (Mitragyna speciosa)

Many people say that Kratom makes them feel GREAT! In low doses Kratom has a stimulating effect, producing heightened energy and an increase in the ability to concentrate.

Larger doses, which have been used successfully for heroin and amphetamine withdrawal, allow users to achieve a higher meditative state, accompanied by vivid hypnagogic dreams and pronounced feelings of euphoria, described by some users as a perfect bliss.

A good starting dose is between 2 to 4 grams. It is usually mixed in with some juice and drank, or placed into capsules and swallowed. 5 capsules of our Super Enhanced kratom is a good starting dose. Effects come on after about 10 to 20 minutes if mixed with a liquid and drank, or after about 45 minutes if taken in capsules. Effects last from 4 to 6 hours, and are best felt if taken on an empty stomach. It is okay to eat 45 minutes to an hour after taking it, which may actually potentiate the effects. It is not recommended to drink alcohol or take other drugs (illegal or prescription) with Kratom.

Many opiate users have successfully kicked their habits by using kratom. It is a helpful herb and makes you feel wonderful! Kratom is also extremely effective as a pain reliever. Many people have found it helps in relieving back pain, headaches, fibromyalgia and other types of pain.

Recent pharmacological studies have concluded that mitragynine, the primary ingredient in Kratom, is as effective a pain-killer as morphine, without the tolerance that develops with morphine's repeated usage.

BLUE LOTUS (Nymphaea Caerulea)

Blue Lotus is a Sedative/Euphoriant and a safe alternative to Diezepam (Valium). 5 to 10 gms of the tea will give you a "hypnotic sedative" effect (sort of like the Cannabis of ancient Egypt). Actually, it is a pretty good sedative with a mild, opiod like feeling.

The effects of Blue Lotus have been described by some people as similar to  mild Ecstasy (MDMA) or Diezepam (Valium), while others describe it to be similar to Marijuana. It is also said to enhance sexual pleasure. All in all, it provides a nice, mellow, tranquil and euphoric feeling. It can be mixed with your favourite smoking mixture or made into a tea (use 5 to 10 grams) and drink after letting it steep for about 20 minutes.

WILD DAGGA CAPS (Leonotis leonurus)

Wild Dagga (Leonotis leonurus) is a mild relaxant often described as providing effects similar to those of Cannabis or mild opium. If you would like to have a smooth relaxing feeling after a hard day at work and you want to stay within the law and not burn brain cells then you have to try our wild dagga caps! The one difference about the feeling you get after ingesting our caps is that you still have the relaxing calm but without the incoherence of other similar herbs. You may say that it is hard to peel the smile off your face, yet your mind stays clear of cloudy vision. Although this plant can be smoked, we have found that taking it in caps provides a better effect!

ORGANIC KANNA CAPS (Sceletium tortuosum)

Kanna has been used by South African pastoralists and hunter-gatherers as a mood-altering substance since prehistoric times. It is known to elevate mood, and reduce anxiety, stress and tension. It has also been used as an appetite suppressant by shepherds walking long distances in arid areas. In intoxicating doses it can cause euphoria, initially with stimulation and later with sedation. Users also report increased personal insight, interpersonal ease and a meditative, grounded feeling without any perceptual dulling. Having such properties, Sceletium is classified as an empathogen type herb. Others have noted enhanced tactile and sexual response, as well as vivid dream inducing properties. High doses produce distinct inebriation and stimulation often followed by sedation. The plant is not hallucinogenic, contrary to some literature on the subject, and no adverse effects have been documented. Kanna is considered a potentiator (enhancer of effects) for other psychoactive herbal material, such as cannabis. Kanna can cause significant mood-elevation and anxiolytic (anti-anxiety) action.

In doses as low as 50 mg (1 cap), users have reported improvements in mood, decreased anxiety, relaxation and a sense of well-being. At higher dosages of 100 to 150 mg (2-3 caps), kanna acts as a calming euphoriant and empathogen. Little is known about the interactions of S. tortuosum, although it should not be combined with SSRIs, MAOIs, cardiac or psychiatric medications. Headaches in conjunction with alcohol have been noted with kanna use.

KAVA (Piper methysticum)

Kava (Piper methysticum) (Piper Latin for "pepper", methysticum Greek for "intoxicating") is an ancient crop of the western Pacific. The word kava is used to refer both to the plant and the beverage produced from its roots. Kava is consumed throughout the Pacific Ocean cultures of Polynesia (including Hawaii), Vanuatu, Melanesia and some parts of Micronesia and Australia. Kava is sedating and is primarily consumed to relax without disrupting mental clarity. Kava's active principal ingredients are the kavalactones, of which at least 15 have been identified and are all considered psychoactive. A moderately potent kava drink causes effects within 20–30 minutes that last for about two and a half hours, but can be felt for up to eight hours. Because of this, it is recommended to space out servings about fifteen minutes apart. Some report longer term effects up to two days after ingestion, including mental clarity, patience, and an ease of acceptance. The effects of kava are most often compared to alcohol, or a large dose of diazepam (Valium). This is the absolute best herb if you want to relax and chill out!

NATURAL SALVIA LEAVES (Salvia divinorum)

Oral use of Salvia

We do NOT offer salvia for human consumption. The following information was taken from sources on the internet:

"Chewing salvia leaves can give an interesting, although different experience, from that obtained from smoking it; the effects are more gentle and last longer. The salvinorin A is slowly absorbed by the sublingual mucosa and into the bloodstream. The effects will come on more slowly (after 10-20 minutes), reaching a peak quite quickly, and then continue for around 30 minutes. In the next 30 to 90 minutes the effects will slowly fade.

A good way of using salvia orally is by making a “quid”. This is a small ball or cylinder of rolled up salvia leaves. This can be done with fresh or dried leaves. Use between 8 and 20 leaves (2-8 grams of dried leaves) and put these in a bowl of water for 10 minutes. Squeeze out the water and roll the leaves up into a ball. It is possible to add sugar or honey to improve the quite bitter taste.

Put the quid in your mouth and chew slowly, once every 10 seconds. If possible, keep the juice that forms in your mouth, without spitting or swallowing. For maximum effect, keep the quid under your tongue in between chews. The first 10 – 15 minutes you will feel little effects. It is important to keep on chewing. After approximately 30 minutes, spit out the quid. You should feel the effects by know. They will remain at this level for around 30 minutes, than slowly fade.

It can be a good idea to use a mouth wash containing menthol and alcohol before taking the quid. Treat your mouth with the mouth wash, carefully brushing the tissue of the mouth and tongue (also under the tongue). Rinse well and start chewing.

There are other ways of taking salvia orally, but the effects will usually be less strong. You could make an extraction in an alcoholic drink such as vodka or whiskey. Put a large number of powdered leaves in a (relatively) small amount of vodka. Leave it to rest for a couple of days, shaking the bottle twice a day. The salvinorin will slowly be absorbed by the alcohol. Filter the drink and carefully squeeze out the plant material. Dilute the drink with an equal amount of water and add sugar of honey for flavor. Hold the maximum quantity you comfortably can in your mouth and swish it around during 30 minutes."
